Video Transcript for Checking Out the Pro Series Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Jack

Today were going to take a look at the Pro Series round snap-ring swivel jack part #: PS1401140303. Now Pro Series covers this jack with a limited one year warranty and it has a lift capacity of up to 2,000lbs. Its built using 2 inch tubing. The outer tube is finished in black paint, the inner tube is zinc plated as well as the footplate thats welded to the bottom. This footplate provides a nice flat base for supporting the nose of your trailer. Its a top wind jack with a hand knob on the handle to make it easy to lower or contract the jack.

Were going to go over a couple of measurements to give you an idea about how your jack will fit the trailer. Well measure from the center of our mounting bracket down to the bottom of the footplate and when the jacks completely contracted we get 11 inches. Now we have another one of these jacks thats fully extended. Again, well measure from the center of our mounting bracket down to the bottom of our footplate. Fully extended we get 21 inches.

The difference between the two is 10 inches and this measurement is known as the jacks lift or travel. This is a swivel jack so once you have the hardware mounted to your trailer, if youre not using the jack like when youre trailering down the road youll be able to pull this pin, rotate the jack up so its flat and out of the way. this piece of steel here youll weld on directly to your trailer frame. Youll slide the jack over and secure it here with a snap ring and it will hold it in place on the bracket youve welded to your trailer frame.
